On October 26th, 2009 400 lbs of Walleye were released into Chippewa Lake, thanks to a generous matching donation of $2000 from the Viking Sportsmen Club.

During February of 2011, an additional 400 lbs of Walleye were released into Chippewa Lake, thanks to another $1,400 donation by the Viking Sportsmen.
